That said, there's always been something slightly more intriguing about Andy Smith's distinctive beats compared to his close pals - they're more direct, more dense, and yet still impossibly playful.

In the months since his debut single dropped, Smith inked terms with the equally hefty Greco-Roman, to release the Playground EP but 'Square 1'sees a return to familiar ground, and Disclosure's guest-vocalist formula, with Deptford Goth offering up some cotton-spun harmonies, which drift over canopies of twinkling bells, broiling samples and insistent bass pops.
